How to Make Skin Look Younger

Let's face it. If you want to know how to make skin look younger, you need to know what causes it to look older. Most skincare products do not address the primary causes of an aged appearance, so obviously, they are ineffective.

The primary causes of an aged appearance are free radical damage, reduced production of skin cells and elastic fibers and low levels of hyaluronic acid. Chronic inflammation also plays a role. There are creams that can help wit that, but avoiding chronic inflammation usually means changing the type of cosmetics and other skincare products that you use.

If a cleanser burns or stings, it is causing inflammation. If you regularly use exfoliants or face scrubs, you are damaging your skin's health and this will negatively affect your appearance, as time goes by. Ingredients that cause allergic reactions in some people are not safe for others to use, either. The big cosmetic companies have gotten away with including known toxins, allergens and irritants for years, by blaming adverse reactions on skin sensitivity, leading people to believe that it's their fault for having sensitive skin.

Since avoiding inflammation is a big part of how to make skin look younger, you need to avoid ingredients that are common allergens, toxins and irritants. They include petrolatum, mineral oil, paraffin, parabens, added fragrance, all artificial preservatives and all petrochemicals. The list of petrochemicals that are included in skincare products is too long to include in this article. The best way to find products that do not contain them is to look for all-natural ingredients.

No one knows why older skin has lower levels of hyaluronic acid, but we do know that enzymatic activity that breaks down the important compound increases with age. Extracts from wakame kelp have been shown to inhibit that enzymatic activity by 52% over the course of five days.

Many people have said that using wakame was how to make skin look younger and keep it beautiful. Now science has proven them correct.

Waxing your pussy 411?

Question: Waxing your pussy 411?

(Posted by: Clover280 on 2008-02-10 19:57:17)

Okay so I've shaved for a little while. And say I shaved today, it would be really smooth and bare. Then only one day after I try shaving again... and because of the mini razor burn starting to happen I bleed!! And those form into tiny bumps (razor burn). So that happens on the 2nd time I try shaving, second day. I then have to wait a week to shave again because of the burn. If anyone has a solution on how to make shaving your pussy more successful im open to that too. On waxing.. 1. How much does it hurt? 2. Do you actually have to spread your legs for the waxer? 3. How long does it actually last before prickley hair comes. and 4. Do you have to let your hair grow out quite a bit? Thanks! i dont want to just leave it there. Thats why i put the post. Guys my age think its gross to have a bush

Your skin gets use to shaving over time, but you should start with just shaving the undercarriage(around yuor lips and butt) and leave the upper part trimmed since that's where most razor burn happens Also use ice immediately after shaving to close all the pores and follicles so oil can't get down in. Use a gel too. Shaving you can do every 3 days or so but waxing you go like ever 4 to 6 weeks. waxing it grows back shaving you keep it shaved.

I haven't tried waxing..because i dont know of any salons around my area (im in college, i live in a dorm..basically bare minimum transportation..you get the picture!) so i googled "sugaring " instead. i made the stuff at home and did it..it's basically waxing without the chemicals. it's just sugar, water, and some lemon juice. you rip it off..and voila! smooth skin! it hurts like a ****** though! but..mine lasted for a couple of weeks; when the hairs did grow back they were finer, softer, and there were less of them. now i'm going to stick to this and shave only once in a while when i cant do it. you can try waxing..but i think this is a cheap alternative and it's safe when you follow directions carefully.

HELLO CLOVER 28, To answer your question ( s ) in regards to your waxing delimma, I think that I would wait a little longer in between the shaving times in order to give yourself a little recouperation time.........And on the waxing question, yes it does hurt..but it is something that one gets used to, over time........so that after a whileyou kind of get used to having the procedure done,....just make sure that you are not having your period during or around that time, because the truth of the matter is, the skin is much more sensiitive around that time of the month and can cause it to hurt much more than normal..... i certainly hope that this has been helpful to you and I wish you the very best of luck in the future with this situation.........and may God keep you safe and happy in the future. love, Sweetness #1

Before I went for my first bikini wax, I looked it up and found 2 links that were really helpful...pretty much answered all my questions. You should definitely check them out. The first one talks about at-home waxing as well as at a salon: canadianliving.com/ style/ beauty/ bikini_waxing_101.php In the second one, I find the tips at the bottom are really good: tsl.pomona.edu/ index.php?article= 2696 Hope that helps.
