How to Make Skin Look
Younger
Let's face it. If you want to know how to make skin look younger, you
need to know what causes it to look older. Most skincare products do not
address the primary causes of an aged appearance, so obviously, they are
ineffective.
The primary causes of an aged appearance are free radical damage,
reduced production of skin cells and elastic fibers and low levels of
hyaluronic acid. Chronic inflammation also plays a role. There are
creams that can help wit that, but avoiding chronic inflammation usually
means changing the type of cosmetics and other skincare products that
you use.
If a cleanser burns or stings, it is causing inflammation. If you
regularly use exfoliants or face scrubs, you are damaging your skin's
health and this will negatively affect your appearance, as time goes by.
Ingredients that cause allergic reactions in some people are not safe
for others to use, either. The big cosmetic companies have gotten away
with including known toxins, allergens and irritants for years, by
blaming adverse reactions on skin sensitivity, leading people to believe
that it's their fault for having sensitive skin.
Since avoiding inflammation is a big part of how to make skin look
younger, you need to avoid ingredients that are common allergens, toxins
and irritants. They include petrolatum, mineral oil, paraffin, parabens,
added fragrance, all artificial preservatives and all petrochemicals.
The list of petrochemicals that are included in skincare products is too
long to include in this article. The best way to find products that do
not contain them is to look for all-natural ingredients.
No one knows why older skin has lower levels of hyaluronic acid, but
we do know that enzymatic activity that breaks down the important
compound increases with age. Extracts from wakame kelp have been shown
to inhibit that enzymatic activity by 52% over the course of five days.
Many people have said that using wakame was how to make skin look
younger and keep it beautiful. Now science has proven them correct.

Olay Regenerist was recently rated the best in a huge survey with many anti-aging products, against some costing a lot more money. This story was posted on our local news in Toronto a couple weeks ago. I personally haven't tried it - yet!

Olay Total Effects 7%, is by far, the very best anti-aging face cream out there to date. It's a "visible " anti-aging vitamin complex. I have been using it faithfully for several months now, and the results are astounding! It works if you use it regularly. You will begin to see results in as little as a few days after starting it's use, and your face will look like it's glowing, smooth, and supple. It's the best! I have used many different facial products over the years and I can honestly say, Olay products of any kind are the best on the market. I believe they are reasonably priced for the quality of product they are. Well worth the expense because they give results you can see. Try it and see what you think. I believe you will be delighted with it, and will be sold on Olay products from now on. I remember as a child watching my mother use Oil of Olay faithfully. She always had such beautiful facial skin! Back then all they had was pretty much the one product, Oil of Olay cream. Today you cannot begin to count the wonderful products they have available, all top notch! Good luck! :-) There are MANY great facial products out there that work! Just because some don't get the results others get doesn't mean they don't work at all. Everyone is different! So don't take the word of just one or a few testimonials. Try it for yourself first.

There are no "magic potions " to halt, prevent, or stangate aging. It's gonna happen if you use the cheap soap or something that costs $100 a bar.

What to Look for in an Anti Wrinkle Skin Care Product. We all age. It's a simple fact of human life that no one is exempt from. One side effect of aging that many people don't care for are the wrinkles. Anti wrinkle skin care products line the shelves of drugstores, supermarkets, discount stores, and even department stores. They come in all sorts of forms and varieties, from a countless array of manufacturers. The dazzling array of choices can be overwhelming for any consumer on a quest for younger looking skin. The first thing you should do is think about your skin type. All skin types can wrinkle. However, it's important to choose an anti wrinkle product that is suited to your skin type. Dry skin needs intense moisture to prevent dry patches and plump fine lines. Oily skin, on the other hand, needs a lighter formulation that battles wrinkles while staying light on the skin. For sensitive skin, it's important to choose a wrinkle fighter that's gentle, hypo-allergenic and fragrance free. Most of the time, there will be information on product packaging that will tell you what skin type it is designed for. Reading ingredients is a good idea when searching for the right skin care products. Many wrinkle fighting products contain retinol, which is a form of Vitamin A. Retinol helps rejuvenate the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and can even sometimes be used to battle acne as well. However, some people find that retinol causes them irritation. Individuals with sensitive skin may find retinol too harsh for them. Other ingredients that can help fight wrinkles include Coenzyme Q10, copper, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. You might be wondering when an anti wrinkle skin care product line be implemented into one's skin care routine. The sooner the better, actually! Many anti wrinkle formulations work well on a preventative basis and can slow the effects of aging on the skin. Those in their teens and twenties can get by without these types of products, but skin that's older than that can certainly benefit from some sort of antiaging product. For drier skin types, go for cream formulations. Light lotions and serums are good for oily and normal skin types. Usually, antiaging products are used once or twice a day, and can be worn under makeup.
