How to Make Skin Look Younger

Let's face it. If you want to know how to make skin look younger, you need to know what causes it to look older. Most skincare products do not address the primary causes of an aged appearance, so obviously, they are ineffective.

The primary causes of an aged appearance are free radical damage, reduced production of skin cells and elastic fibers and low levels of hyaluronic acid. Chronic inflammation also plays a role. There are creams that can help wit that, but avoiding chronic inflammation usually means changing the type of cosmetics and other skincare products that you use.

If a cleanser burns or stings, it is causing inflammation. If you regularly use exfoliants or face scrubs, you are damaging your skin's health and this will negatively affect your appearance, as time goes by. Ingredients that cause allergic reactions in some people are not safe for others to use, either. The big cosmetic companies have gotten away with including known toxins, allergens and irritants for years, by blaming adverse reactions on skin sensitivity, leading people to believe that it's their fault for having sensitive skin.

Since avoiding inflammation is a big part of how to make skin look younger, you need to avoid ingredients that are common allergens, toxins and irritants. They include petrolatum, mineral oil, paraffin, parabens, added fragrance, all artificial preservatives and all petrochemicals. The list of petrochemicals that are included in skincare products is too long to include in this article. The best way to find products that do not contain them is to look for all-natural ingredients.

No one knows why older skin has lower levels of hyaluronic acid, but we do know that enzymatic activity that breaks down the important compound increases with age. Extracts from wakame kelp have been shown to inhibit that enzymatic activity by 52% over the course of five days.

Many people have said that using wakame was how to make skin look younger and keep it beautiful. Now science has proven them correct.

There is no anti-aging miracle pill...Foods rich in antioxidants that fight the free radicals in your body are one way blueberries , strawberries, pomegranate, cranberries, grapes, oranges, red, green, yellow peppers..go with all the colorful fruit and veggies you can find..nuts and seeds are SO important, especially almonds and sunflower and pumpkin seeds...vitamin c cream and grape seed oil is also great for your skin. Make your own, many websites have the formula..DON'T smoke, minimal drinking, 7-8 hours sleep, and use sunscreen, and use olive oil whenever possible, with food and 1/ 4 olive oil mixed with 1 cup sugar makes a great body exfloiate/ scrub..be sure to use plastic container in case you drop it in the shower...:)

There is no such thing as an anti aging pill. We all age, whether we believe it or not!! It starts the day we are born! That said -- no better way to age and enjoy a healthy long life than to offer your body the best nutrition that you can. I personally use replacement protein shakes together with fresh fruit and vegetables daily and basically combine with a Mediterranean style diet. There is no magic bullet. It is very important to take care of your health and treat it as well as you treat your car with the best fuel, energy and nutrition that is available. feel free to contact me at healthyfuture77@yahoo.com

I think the best way to prevent aging is to use a combination of anti-aging solution and anti-aging pills. I tried to search your question, I think this site has some reviews, anti-aging-reviews.info But I think enjoying life and not worrying too much prevents those lines from appearing. In any case good luck to all of us...

Unfortunately, there is no magic anti-aging pill. For me, exercising is my most potent anti-aging technique. If possible, join a gym. There have been days I really did not feel like exercising. However when I got to the gym and saw all the machines and the people exercising, it gave me the motivation to work out. Having a good social life and doing things that are fun and stimulate the brain (possibly learning to play music a little or playing crossword puzzlesor bridge) are great anti aging techniques. I think Susannah's food choices are excellent. I have used acai and it is a total scam. Acai seems to have lots of antioxidants and phytonutrients. However, unless you live in South America, you never get the real berries. You just get powders and purees manufactured from the berry. How nutritious are these products made from acai? I don't think anyone knows for certain. Due to my own misfortune, I want to warn you about the many acai SCAMS online---especially the "free trials. " One scam is Acai Berry Supreme. They promised me a free bottle and I would only have to pay shipping. I noticed an additional $29.95 added to my credit card from that company and had to complain to the company to get a refund. Then they started shipping me more bottles and trying to charge me for them. Another scam is Acai Berry Power 500, which also offered a free trial bottle. They then started mailing me additional bottles of acai without my permission. Again, I had to complain to the company to get credit card charges removed. Also beware of people trying to sell you acai products on YA. Be cautious about people warning you of scams and then directing you to their website to buy their acai products. If you are still interested in acai, your best bet is to go to almost any health food or vitamin store and buy acai directly. I have no financial ties to Sambazon, but they are one of the most well-known and reputable companies selling acai. Best of luck.

The Acai berry isn't a scam. It's some of those site that are the scams. There are things you can do besides taking pills that will help you with anti aging. There are various foods you can eat and also skin creams that work. I found a blog that explains a few things you can do. I'll leave a link to the blog below. hope this helps...

You can slow down the aging process and live a better quality of life by eating as much of your food raw as possible. I mean raw vegetables and fruits. Juicing carrots and other vegetables will help tremendously if your lifestyle permits you enough time for it. One other crucial factor in maintaining youth is glutathione. If you haven't heard of it, you need to do some research on it. You can check out the link in my source box for more information.
